This baby shell is tested to the latest ECE R129 (i-Size) safety standard and offers optimum support and protection thanks to innovative side impact protection and a padded 3-point harness system that grows with your child. The integrated seat reducer provides extra support for your newborn from birth, and removes as your child grows.

The comfortable headrest can be adjusted to four different positions and the seat cushion padding is removable, allowing you to individually adapt the height and width of the baby shell to your treasure. ABC Design's Tulip baby shell has been assessed by Stiftung Warentest and ADAC in the 10/2020 edition with a "GUT" rating (2.2). The ADAC certifies that the Tulip baby shell offers a very low risk of injury in the event of a frontal collision, and safe protection in the event of a side impact. Our Tulip baby shell doesn't just protect your child in the car: the generous sun canopy with UV protection provides pleasant shade on sunny days.

Thanks to its slightly rounded bottom, the shell offers a gentle rocking function outside the car - perfect for a cosy little nap! Installation in the car is very simple. Simply use the vehicle's three-point safety belt. Colored belt guides make it easy to fasten the belt correctly.

If you often travel by car, it's worth buying an optional Isofix base. You only need to attach the base once in the car. Then simply snap the Tulip baby shell in and out of the base. A colored indicator always shows you when it's been correctly fitted.

This makes fitting the baby shell much quicker and safer. If you opt for the Isofix Root base, you can turn the baby shell 90 degrees to the side for easy entry and exit. With a weight of just 3.95 kg and the option of placing the shell on the frame of the ABC-Design stroller, the Tulip baby shell is ideal for travelling. Once you've reached your destination, you can easily switch from the car to the stroller without waking your child.
