Use your Tour bike trailer flexibly in everyday family life. You connect the Tour bike trailer to your bike using a hitch. It's an indispensable connecting element, mounted on the rear axle of your bike.

Before setting off, you attach the towbar and secure it. As the linkage remains on the bike, your ride can be quickly coupled and uncoupled at any time after a single installation of the hitch. A hitch is already included in the delivery of your Tour.

But if you use more than one bike in your daily family life, the second hitch is ideal as an accessory. You can equip both bikes with their own towbars and use them flexibly with your Tour. This means you can take your Tour with you wherever you go, independently of your bike.

To go to the playground or to the shops, you use one bike, and for the weekend bike ride, the other bike pulls the trailer. It's important to know: There are three different axle systems for bicycles. The solid axle, the quick-release axle and the plug-in axle.

Depending on the axle system and frame shape, an additional adapter or spacer is required. This should be indicated in your bike's instruction manual. In most cases, you'll also find useful information on fitting a bike trailer to the model in question.
